Ad Library Exporter for Meta — Chrome extension

In short

Reads only what's already public on the Ad Library search page you're viewing.
Your exported CSV goes straight to your own device — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
One third-party service is involved: ExtensionPay, solely for the optional Pro purchase.

What this extension does

Ad Library Exporter for Meta reads publicly visible ad data from pages you load at facebook.com/ads/library/* and lets you export it to a CSV file on your own device. That's its entire function.

What data it accesses

Ad Library page content. While you're on an Ad Library search page, the extension reads the ad cards rendered on that page — page name, ad copy, CTA button text, start date, media type, and (for Pro users) the landing page URL — plus the Ad Library's own network responses carrying the same data. All of it is data Meta already shows publicly to anyone who loads that page. The extension does not access your Facebook account, feed, messages, or anything outside the Ad Library search pages.

Subscription status. The extension uses a third-party billing service, ExtensionPay, to check whether you've purchased Pro and to process payment if you choose to upgrade. ExtensionPay — via its processor, Stripe — handles anything you enter at checkout directly; this extension never receives or stores your payment details, only a paid/free status flag.

What data it stores

Your paid/free status is cached locally in chrome.storage.local so the extension doesn't need to check the server on every page load. This stays on your device.
Ad rows you export are written directly to a CSV file that downloads to your computer. The extension does not upload, transmit, or retain a copy of your exported data anywhere.

What this extension does not do

Track your browsing outside facebook.com/ads/library/
Collect analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
Sell, share, or transmit your exported ad data to any third party
Require an account or sign-in to use the free tier

Third parties

The only third-party service involved is ExtensionPay (billing and payment processing for the optional Pro upgrade). See ExtensionPay's privacy policy for how they handle payment information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a new "last updated" date.
